I'm finally posting some new work. I went into a slump that I swore would never end (still not sure it has...). It's just very frustrating when you are self taught, using a mouse and have no practical training in painting, illustration, etc. These are all excuses I've used in the past that I'm trying to get rid of...so whereas in the past I would just have stopped trying (sumtimes for years at a time) - I'm trying to fight through it. We'll see what comes of that. Hopefully good work

On a different note - these 2 guys really keep me going: and (in no particular order). I take one look at the artwork Gary (gz12wk) chooses to ink and he has fantastic taste (or at least similar to mine) in those he does. Will's (trialze) style of drawing just seems to call to me and he's improving at a phenominal rate. His work actually allows me to be more creative and sumwhat illustrate (through colors - muscle definition in particular), at the same time as I color. I have honestly put other coloring projects aside just about everytime they post new work...it's almost obsessive. hahahahaha

Anyways, I'm gonna control myself and not jump on That Red Monika they did [link] and try to do/finish the pics I've been wanting to color for a minute. Believe me it's taking all my self control not to do her...um, the pic that is. Um...yeah.

I also am putting the pics I tried to color while in my slump in my scraps so you might wanna check those out if ya have any interest.
